Clean solid sound in a wall speaker very little if any distortion in most situations. One speaker vibrates when there is a great deal of bass though this may be as a result of the mounting and installation. My installer did the install with a standard (read cheaper mud ring, so it may be a way to save over Klipsch branded rings, which are basically just plastic frames of the same quality of generic mus rings)
Overall it was the most pricey in wall speaker I used in three rooms of a whole home audio installation, but it produces the best sound quality of any of the speakers we used.
